Our Values

Think of these as our guiding compass through the challenging terrain of land sector training. These values keep us focused on our mission to provide you with the tools you need to navigate the process of achieving secured land rights for all your development programs and investments.

Simplicity

We recognize that the land sector is quite technical. Yet, it is a good understanding and appreciation of these technical concepts that contributes to success in delivering sound interventions for improved land tenure security. Noting the importance of understanding these concepts, we commit to simplifying land tenure concepts and making them comprehensible for all actors in the land sector.

Integrity

We are real in all we do and in our interactions with all the people with engage with at all levels. While we have a well thought out vision that drives all we do, we recognize that we are human and have our own limitations. We do not know it all. We therefore commit to learning as an on-going process just as we encourage our stakeholders to also learn.

Passion

The CELPAD team is fully committed to our vision, both in heart and mind. We demonstrate our passion by ensuring that we truly serve the needs and interests of land rights practitioners and actors as well as land rights holders. And so, when we design our programs, strategies and tools, we want them to contextualize it for our target population so well that it fits their own situation easily.

Commitment

We stay committed to the vision of strengthening land governance in Ghana and Africa and we recognize the role of our stakeholders in contributing to this vision. We therefore work towards building similar commitment in all our stakeholders.

Diversity

The land sector is a specialized sector and yet, has many actors whose daily activities relate to secured land rights that are delivered by professionals in the sector. We believe that demystifying the land sector provides opportunity for all, both professional land administration practitioners and non-professionals, will increase the chances for positive action by all to contribute to enhancing secured land tenure. To this end, we commit to demonstrate diversity in our choice of stakeholders and participants in all our programs, activities and event. We hold ourselves accountable for broadening the reach of our capacity strengthening and information dissemination programs so that both professional and non-professional actors will benefit.
